Summing-up Saturday's Market Spectacular...

The third Barn Market saw a fantastic throng of happy customers despite the rain and the dreary weather. It was warm and welcoming inside and bags were filled to the brim with an array of handmade and designed treats from our very talented Artisans.

It was an event for the senses: the spectacular colours and forms were a delight for the eyes while the aromas and tastes from the assortment of foods/beverages were delectable. It was tantalisingly tactile with so many mediums crafted into wares that you couldn’t help but touch. And, not to forget the cheerful tunes from our buskers and the excited chatter and ‘ooohh’s’ and ‘aaahhh’s’ that filled the air.

Finally, we would like to say a big thank you to Trace from ‘Soewn Earth’ for running two very successful makers demonstrations which saw crowds gathering to observe, ask questions and even take notes.

Now, make sure you have a pen in hand because we have some exciting news. Get your diary out…

We would like to invite you to a special Barn Market event in August.

On Friday 20th August, 6pm - 8pm, we will be running a ‘Christmas in Winter’ night market which will feature artisan stalls spread thickly both inside and out, carols, competitions, a winery, hot food and baked goods and, of course, a visit from Santa. So, grab your woolies and wrap up for this special event with a European Christmas Market twist; there’ll be something for the whole family.

Make sure you sign up to our newsletter on this page to get the inside running on some of our special competitions...

This will be followed on Saturday 21st August with our biggest Saturday market yet - bursting to the seams with stalls and delights for all to enjoy.

You won’t want to miss this one; see you there!
